Your CPD records must document a minimum number of CPD points (dependent on your grade of membership) obtained per financial year as outlined in the ISNSW CPD Policy.
Forms can be downloaded for Annual Returns, Personal Assessments and Event Assessments.
From 1/7/2018, for members who are Registered Surveyors, of the total 15 CPD points required:-
For members who are not Registered Surveyors, the following CPD requirements will apply: (can be any combination of Cadastral, Mining or Survey Practice points).
If you have undertaken some further activity you wish to be assessed for possible CPD points, please complete the Personal Assessment form and return it to ISNSW for CPD assessment.
Similarly, if a group such as a regional group of ISNSW, another professional association or a business running an event, please complete the Event Assessment form and return it to ISNSW for CPD assessment.
When seeking membership renewal or a certificate of compliance with your CPD requirements please complete the Annual CPD Return form and send it to ISNSW for compliance assessment.
The purpose of the Certificate of Attendance is when an ISNSW member goes to an event held by a non-surveyor organisation (eg. Chamber of Commerce) and that organisation is not familiar with the need for CPD points. The member can take this form ( link below) with them on the day of the event to have signed by the organiser or can send it to the organiser later to get signed.
The CPD assessors need the information to be able to verify that the person did go, the details of the event and specifically the hours of attendance.
