The presentation is experience-based and will cover: a general introduction to easements and height limitations; reasons for creating easements; examples of stratum easements; which is the best suited to the requirements of the job, a party wall or an easement for support; consequences of not extinguishing easements; carryover of unnecessary benefits; an example of easement required for a burial site; issues raised; terms of the easement; form of the terms of the easement; who has a right to use an easement; recent BOSSI determination on use of an easement; easements and public roads; and examples of issues arising from poorly word terms of easements.
Note: In keeping with the requirements of the ISNSW CPD Policy, you will be required to fill out a questionnaire from the presenter.
