The annual ISNSW Australia Day Seminar 2018 (ADS2018) is a prime opportunity for members and non-members alike to reconnect with the latest developments and industry trends in the surveying profession in New South Wales and abroad. Held over two days, this seminar brings together presentations from both the surveying profession and related industries, covering new technology, surveying practices and business strategies.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Sir Richard Hadlee MBE

One of cricket's undisputed legends, Sir Richard Hadlee made his first class debut in 1971. A left-hand batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler, Richard Hadlee obtained a regular place in the New Zealand team in 1975-76 when he bowled New Zealand to victory over India at Wellington taking 7-23 in their second inning. Richard Hadlee was awarded the M.B.E. for services to New Zealand sport in 1981 and a Knighthood for services to cricket in 1990. Sir Richard Hadlee lives by his motto in life - "A quitter never wins and a winner never quits". He is a firm believer that you should always give it a go. You will never know until you have tried and given it your best. Sir Richard is witty, sincere, motivational and above all the extreme professional.
