Seniors
The Seniors Group of Surveyors is made up of surveyors who have retired or are contemplating retirement. At their quarterly meetings; which are genial and informal, you will be welcomed to share a little of your time with your contemporaries.
With a collective wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm of these young at heart surveyors, they endeavour to solve various challenges whilst enjoying shared experiences and social activities.
You are invited to come and enjoy your retirement time with the Group. Share your retirement and experiences, stories and success with fellow surveyors who have been part of our profession.
The Seniors Group has no Group geographic boundaries, and the emphasis is on fellowship and matters of surveying heritage. Visitors are always welcome, so why not attend a meeting and renew old friendships.
Meetings
Meetings are held on a quarterly basis each year with the February meeting being the Parliamentary Luncheon with your partners and then on the first Tuesday in May and August. The November meeting is held on the first Wednesday to avoid the Melbourne Cup on the Tuesday.
Prior to the meeting, attendees are invited to a buffet luncheon at 12 noon at the ground floor of the Crown Hotel at the corner of Goulburn and Elizabeth Streets, Sydney. Followed by the meeting at 1 pm at the Institution of Surveyors NSW Inc, Head Office, Level 4, 162 Goulburn Street, just a short walk (250 metres) east of Elizabeth Street.
