Central Western Group

The Central Western Group of The Institution of Surveyors NSW Inc was formed in 1975 and its inaugural meeting was held in Orange on 8 February 1975.  This meeting was chaired by Kevin Blume, the president of ISNSW at the time, with 31 members in attendance.

The group covers the largest geographical area of the state, representing surveyors across the west, extending from the Blue Mountains in the east, all the way to Broken Hill in the west, and the area previously covered by the New England group from Moree in the north, and down to Boorowa in the south.

The group usually runs two (2) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) per year, in April and September, with locations rotating around the region.

Membership of the group is open to ISNSW members who reside within the geographical area, and welcomes surveyors and other related professions to attend seminars when held.
