How to Enter

Members of either The Institution of Surveyors NSW Inc. or The Association of Consulting Surveyors NSW are invited to submit entries for judging at State level, with all category winners being automatically entered to one relevant category of the national Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA).

APSEA's key principles

• Recognise and acknowledge excellence in the spatial information industry.
• Celebrate excellence before an audience of industry peers.
• Encourage activities that create a stronger, larger and more relevant industry.
• Embrace the achievements of the industry and its related industries and professions.
• See the industry as a whole grow and mature through its achievements in innovation, business and in project management.

Conditions of Entry

It is a condition of Entry to the NSW Excellence in Surveying & Spatial Information Awards that: -

• Your project has been completed within the last eighteen (18) months AND
• Entry into the industry awards may be from any public or private sector individual or firm, a government agency, an academic or research body, or other AND
• You Register your Expression of Interest on the form included in the Information Kit downloadable from this site AND
• You permit The Institution of Surveyors NSW and The Association of Consulting Surveyors NSW to use the materials provided for publicity and promotional purposes AND
• You nominate at least one person resident in NSW to represent the entry at the formal presentation dinner.

Judging Criteria

Each category will be judged by a panel of no less than three (3) and no more than five (5) individuals with specific exeperience in the category being judged.

Specific Criteria for each category are included in the Information Kit downloadable from this site.

The Judging Panel's decisions are final.

Entrants should note that a project's "size" will not improve or limit the likelihood of winning an award.
