What is a Surveyor?Surveying involves measurement above, below and on the earth's surface as well as the planning & management of both natural and man-made resources. The surveyor is usually the first on the scene when any construction or development is planned: any road, town building, airport, mine or house.
For a surveyor, each day may be different: working in the city one day and perhaps in a rural area the next. The surveyor usually spends part of the time in an office and part of the time making measurements outside. A surveyor may be either a male or female.
