Can I gain work experience?

The Institution supports and recommends work experience both for high school students and tertiary students.
High school students should contact a surveyor in their local area, requesting work experience. Institution members or careers advisers may request a work experience kit to help them arrange work experience opportunities.
Tertiary students should contact professional surveyors in their local area well in advance of the proposed time experience is required.
Formal work (paid and unpaid) experience opportunities exist throughout Australia, via larger organisations.
